Schedule for this course

This course walks you through the process used for today's disk drives. The class follows the production of both inductive and MR Heads, step by step, from raw substrate to the finished HGA. Not only are each of the process steps explained, but the equipment used to accomplish each step is covered as well. Participants who already have a basic understanding of how a disk drive functions will get the most out of this class. The Disk Drive Basics or the GMR Head Basics class provides excellent preparation for this class.
