Hands-On 1394 Interface Schedule for this course

5 Day Course

The Hands-On 1394 seminar fills a gap in 1394 training needs. The course presents the 1394 interface by means of a lecture, and then immediatly reinforces the lecture with hands-on training. Equipment provided is state-of-the-art bus analyzer, plus a computer exerciser, disk drive, camera, and bus expander. The course can be customized for your needs and focus on storage products or video products or both. Lab exercises begin with the assembly of the equipment, and then they lead the student through exercises which reinforce and expand on the material covered in the lecture sections. For efficient use of time, certain labs will use the bus analyzer to display pre-captured traces that the student will decode and understand.
