About the Book and Reference Manual:
KnowledgeTek is pleased to offer a new updated edition of our extremely popular SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) book. The text is authored by Hugh Curley, an experienced KnowledgeTek instructor, and is written for both the novice and experienced Serial Attached SCSI users. This invaluable reference tool contains explanations of each of the SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) layers and protocols.

The SAS: Beyond the Basics Book is intended for three different audiences:
- For people who need only an overview of SAS and for those who need an overview before delving into SAS more deeply.
- For people who need the more in-depth study of SAS.
- For people who need a reference only.

The SAS: Beyond the Basics Reference Manual is a convenient guide with SAS 2.1 acronyms, glossary and references.
