Universal Serial Bus 2.0 Schedule for this course

2 Day Course

USB replaces the many varied and incompatible connectors on the back of your computer with a single connector capable of interfacing with many peripherals. This single bus directly replaces the serial ports, parallel ports, keyboard and mouse ports, audio ports and could replace the need for infra-red and others. Even better, there are no jumpers, terminators, addresses or IRQs to worry about. The true Plug and Play offered by USB makes connecting and disconnecting cameras, scanners, back-up mass storage devices and others very convenient.

Now that USB 1.1 peripherals are common place and USB 2.0 peripherals are shipping in quantity, this is no longer the interface of the future, it is the interface of TODAY. If you are developing, testing or troubleshooting hardware or software, you need to be up-to-speed on this interface. This in-depth, nuts and bolts course is the best way to do it. This course solidifies the learning experience by reviewing 12 analyzer traces featuring low speed, full speed and high speed devices on both USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 networks.

KnowledgeTek is proud to announce the addition of instructor-led demonstrations in this class. These demonstrations, using a Data Transit analyzer and standard peripherals, reinforce the lecture and add to the students' retention. Demos include Bulk, Isochronous, Interrupt and Control flows and frames, timing, and state charts. Additional demo's can be customized to meet customer's need using customer's equipment.
